/ Artist Statement
"It is my passion to photograph spatial relationship dynamics among objects seated in seeming chaos. My work represents the preciseness and exactitude of fleeting moments in unaffected reality. I manipulate the camera to blur the line between near and far while using a true lens to reproduce the view as it appears from the human eye. This approach informs my investigation of belonging.
"I photograph the space between events while on the surface nothing is happening. My photographic inquiries explore the concept of transition. Following a shoot I select and sequence the images that best reenact the flow of time and space. This way the audience is invited along my journey from a conceptual and emotional level." - Marco Gualtieri
